Pa. OL Getting Interest From WFU

At 6-foot-7 and 295 pounds, Bethlehem (Pa.) Freedom standout offensive tackle Ryan Ehrie will likely be among the state's most heavily recruited offensive linemen this coming season.

Ehrie, who carries a 3.5 GPA, has been a two-way starter for the last three seasons. He finished his junior season with 32 pancake blocks on offense and was third on the team in tackles. A first team All-Conference pick, Ehrie is getting attention from schools from across the region.

"Some of the schools but not all are as follows: Penn State, Duke, Virginia, Pittburgh, Boston College, Iowa, Maryland, Tennessee, Auburn, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Indiana, Michigan St, Northwestern," he said.

Ehrie has not yet received any scholarship offers and plans on attending the NIKE Camp at Penn State next month.
