Goddard Looking To Get Out

Roanoke (NC) athlete Trimaine Goddard is has several favorites, and they are all out of his home state.

"Florida State I have liked since I was little," the 5-foot-10, 170 pounder. "Colorado I have watched on television the last two years, and they are recruiting me hard, as is Virgina. Virginia is also close to home, and all three of them are pretty high on my list."

Goddard also says that he is receiving mail from NC State, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Michigan, Duke, and East Carolina.

"Duke and East Carolina want me to go to their spring game and see how I could make an impact on their team.

"Duke wants me to play running back, but the rest of the teams like me as a defensive back. It really does not matter to me as long as I get some playing time."

At the moment, Goddard would like to leave his options open and visit different camps, including the Nike Camp, a quarterback camp for his team, and possible several team camps.

"I went to Wake Forest last year, and that helped a lot. I really would like to go to some others."

Trimaine finished his Junior season with 1857 rushing yards, 800 yards passing, and 39 total touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, he had 124 tackles and six interceptions.
