Player Spotlight: Jonathan McLaughlin
"My offered list is still Wake and ECU," said Jonathan McLaughlin.
"I haven't visited ECU yet, but I've been to Wake Forest twice. I went to the spring game and got to meet Coach Grobe, and I really liked him.
"I haven't seen ECU practice, but it's a good school and from what I've heard they have nice facilities."
McLaughlin discussed the general perception of the two schools.
"For the public I know those two teams are kind of considered underdogs," he said. "But they have young guys on the team, so from what I've seen I think they'll get good in the next couple of years."
The offensive tackle described regular contact from both schools and discussed others who have shown interest.
"I've talked to Kentucky a lot," he explained. "They're supposed to be coming to my spring practice. Recently I've talked to Northwestern, and the Alabama coaches want me to come to camp. Hopefully the contact will work out for me."
McLaughlin plans to attend camps at South Carolina and Clemson as well, and explained that he's "hearing from most of the schools I've wanted to."
