Josh Banks talks commitment
"Wake was the first school to give me an offer," the 6-4, 250-pound athlete said. "I took a whole bunch of visits, I liked what I saw and I thought, I'm going to commit."
Banks also received offers from Western Michigan, Minnesota and Maryland.
Banks explained what stood out to about Wake Forest.
"Wake was more like a home; the rest are all pretty far away too," he said. "It just felt right for me. It really felt like home."
Banks has made four visits to Wake Forest, this past Sunday being the most recent.
The Middle Creek High School senior is "resting and trying to stay in shape" before season starts, and "trying to work on endurance."
"You can't be a good football player without endurance," he added.
