Jarred Crump names top three

Jarred Crump, wide receiver from Bartram Trail High School in Florida, named an early three favorite schools back in February. Now at 13 offers, the senior has switched out that list entirely and looking for more offers to add to the mix.

"FAU was my most recent offer," the 6-3, 190-pound athlete said. "It came in around May."

Crump holds offers from a number of other schools including NC State, FIU, West Virginia and Wake Forest.

"I'm still talking to Georgia, and Arkansas said they'd probably come through here this fall and check me out," Crump said of potential additions to his list.

Though Crump is unsure where he'll take his official visits, he's got a clear view of those schools standing above the rest.

"I'd say my top three are Georgia, Wake Forest and Southern Miss," he said.

"Right now Georgia and Wake are keeping up with me the most. Georgia hasn't offered, but they're still interested. I haven't made my official visits, but I want to go see them both during some game days, and see the schools in that kind of atmosphere."

Crump continued about his interest in the schools.

"Both schools have great campuses, and the coaching staff is great," he said. "I'm really close with the wide receiver coaches, so that helps."

Crump compared similarities between his current coach and the staff at UGA.

"I like coach Richt at Georgia. He reminds me of Coach Sutherland, our head coach here," Crump explained. "They keep their men in line. It's not a big thing to everyone, but they pray before and after games; keep their boys on line and keep them safe."

Of his potentially final season under the Floridian sun Crump said, "We don't think about it. We just do what we can and work hard."
