Signing Day Interview: Codi Miller-McIntyre

On Wednesday, one of the best point guards in the country, CodiMiller-McIntyre, signed his LOI to attend Wake Forest University. was at Hargrave Military Academy to covert the ceremony.

DeaconSports: How does it feel to officially be a Demon Deacon?
Codi Miller-McIntyre: "It's an unbelievable feeling. I think about everything I went through to get to this point. Everything seems to have fallen into place and I thank God for all of it."

DS: Two years ago, when you transferred and missed playing your sophomore season, did you think you would be here signing a DI scholarship to Wake Forest?
CMM: "To be I missed that season and just wanted to come out and prove myself during my junior year and earn some respect. To be here today signing a scholarship to play ball at a school like Wake Forest is indescribable."

DS: Looking ahead, what can Wake Forest expect from you next season?
CMM: "All I know is I am in it 100% for my coaches and teammates at Wake Forest. Coach Bzdelik and the staff believed in me when I was not ranked as a top 100 recruit and I believe in them. I want to prove how great Wake Forest basketball can be."
