Why Wake Forest: "Coach Grobe is the best in terms of being a leader and a role model for his players. I think he's the most fatherly coach in college football. The academics were also a big seller. I've made good grades in high school and want to see how far I can push myself in athletics as well as academics."

Strengths/Improvements: "I improved in my pass blocking. I didn't allow any sacks. I also felt like I was faster, more explosive and did a better job finishing off my blocks. I think I averaged eight or nine pancakes per game. In one game I had thirteen or fourteen."

Shane Handy (Randleman): "At tackle, he's very athletic, gets out of his stance well, and shows good flex in his hips. We're about 50/50 in running the ball and passing. He does a great job of taking care of our quarterback. We think he's a real diamond."
