Why Wake Forest: "While all of the other coaches were looking to the [ACL] injury, Wake Forest was looking past it. The other coaches wanted to see how I'd come back. Wake Forest always stuck with me. The academics are excellent. The team just keeps getting better and better. When you add everything up, you can't beat it."

Strengths/Improvements: "After spending three seasons on varsity I'm very used to playing the game. I knew [this season] perfectly what I needed to do to execute the play. Running the ball, I felt like I improved most on my field vision."

Barry Abercrombie (Fort Bend Hightower): "In the first game against Eisenhower he returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. He also had a 102 yard touchdown called back on a penalty and on a punt return he took to the house. In special teams he's been awesome. At running back he does a good job finding the seam. I'd have to say his explosiveness is his best attribute."
