At a recent camp in Tennessee, West recorded a 4.5 forty, 32.5 inch vertical, and a 9'6" broad jump, ranking him in the top five of each category. West has also camped at Georgia Southern and Vanderbilt, and he still has camps scheduled with North Carolina, Auburn, Georgia, and Princeton.
West has played running back and linebacker his entire career, but he will be a safety on the next level. His coach is giving him the opportunity to show what he can do this year as he will be moved to the safety position for his senior season. West had 906 yards rushing on 164 carries and 9 touchdowns. He also had 91 tackles, 5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 5 fumble recoveries.
