Deacs top three for FL DB

Terrence Ross is starting to make a name for himself. The Apopka (FL) Wekiva safety may not have as many headlines as some of the off-the-charts talents in his home state but his offer list is growing...

NC State, Wake Forest, Louisville and Cincinnati have offered so far and the 6-2, 190-pound defensive back stands to pick up a lot more before his decision. Ross probably won't visit many schools until the summer but he's got a good grasp of what he thinks about a lot of schools right now.

"This summer I'll probably go to Louisville, Cincinnati, Wake Forest and Florida," Ross said.

When asked about favorites Ross mentioned the first three of those schools.

"I like Louisville's coaches and how they are with their players. It seems like they can connect.

"I really haven't heard too much about Cincinnati yet but that was my second offer so I'm going to do a lot of research on them. They sound like they're very interested in me.

Finally, Ross talked about the Demon Deacons. "Wake Forest, same thing. They're very interested in me and I like the coaches. He told me if I'm not comfortable at the position I'm at then he'd let me have another chance at a different position," Ross said.

So far Ross has been recruited as a safety but he prefers to think of himself as an athlete and he's willing to play any position on the field that allows him to get in the game early in his college days.
