Crisp County High School
Cordele, Georgia

The 6-3, 190 pound quarterback has offers from Clemson, South Carolina, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Louisville and Wake Forest. SEC powers LSU and Auburn are also showing significant interest. Brown is not ready to go on record with a top 5 or a leader.

Brown attended the one-day camp at Clemson earlier this summer. "It was real nice. I liked the facilities. I liked the coaches, especially the quarterbacks coach, Mike O'Cain. I would fit into their offense very well. It was my first time at Clemson. I liked the campus and the stadium. It was all real nice, I really liked it a lot."

The talented quarterback also attended a one-day camp at South Carolina. "I liked the South Carolina camp. I liked their quarterback coach." Brown also plans to attend a one-day camp at Auburn later this summer.

Brown completed 217-of-362 passes for 2,289 and 19 touchdowns last season and also added almost 650 yards and 6 more scores on the ground.

So what factors will Brown consider when determining where he will play his college football? "To see if I fit in the offense. To see if I would get some playing time. Not necessarily early playing time, but I don't want to sit on the bench for 4 years. I will look at depth chart."

Location will not be an issue for Brown. "Maryland thought distance might be a concern, but I told them that it wouldn't," stated Brown.

Don't expect a decision anytime soon as Brown plans to take his official visits before making a commitment. We will keep you updated on this outstanding prospect from Georgia, right up through signing day 2004.
