Deacs offer junior RB

Wake Forest has offered a top junior running back from Georgia. Reeling him in isn't going to be easy but the Deacs will give it a go...

Treyvon Paulk may have offers from most of the schools in the ACC and SEC before too much longer. For now he's got 11 offers with one of the most recent coming from Wake Forest.

Up until this point in his young football career Paulk has been an all-purpose utility player. He hasn't been asked to grind it out like some running backs who have put up huge numbers at the high school level.

Regardless, the Deacs like what they have seen. "I called Coach Galloway the other night. We have two guys from our team already committed and he just said, 'We want you.' He likes how I can run and how versatile I am. He thinks I can have a big impact up there and they're going to start recruiting me hard."

Cory Helms and Josh Harris are the two offensive linemen from Milton that are committed to Wake Forest and they are doing everything in their power to make sure Paulk thinks about joining them in Winston-Salem.

"I hear them every day," he said, laughing. "They talk to me whenever they can about it, but I'm going to make my decision on my own."

Despite that Paulk did say that he would be willing to visit the school, either with Helms and Harris or while they are at the school as students.
