Terry has had a busy winter and spring. He's been on unofficial visits to Florida, UCF, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, and Miami (Fla.) and made a strong showing at big name combines in South Florida.
"At the Scout.com Set It Up Combine I was selected as the Offensive Lineman M.V.P.," he said. "At the NFL Prep Combine I was named one of the top performers there at all positions. I was named one of the top ten players at the NUC camp. The spring has gone pretty well. I started to hear from schools like Duke, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt as well as Wake Forest.
"I'm being recruited at center. I have good feet and excellent blocking skills. I'm trying to add extra weight in the off-season to strengthen my legs to help me finish off blocks.
"I'm going to hit the camps this summer then look at where I am with offers afterward. Finding a good family environment is important to me, early playing time is a factor for me for any school, and just a place where I feel comfortable and at home."
In his second season as a starting center for the Hialeah Thoroughbreds, Terry was named second team All-Dade County. He puts snaps into the hands of Alin Edouard, one of the nation's top quarterbacks in the 2014 class, who gave an early pledge to Miami (Fla.) in February. Showing off excellent agility for a man his size, Terry has plated all five positions for the Hialeah basketball team.
