Wake Forest grad transfer F Austin Arians on leadership and his role with the Deacs

Grad transfer Austin Arians spoke with Demon Deacon Digest Wednesday morning before practice about the upcoming trip to the Bahamas and his role with the Deacs in the 2016-17 season.

After starting all 33 games last year for Milwaukee, Austin Arians has transferred to Wake Forest to finish his collegiate basketball career.

Arians scored double-digits in 20 games last year, and finished averaging 11.4 points and 3.8 rebounds a game.

He's spent the summer on campus with the Deacs, and is just one of six new players being integrated into coach Danny Manning's third squad at the helm.

Arians spoke with Demon Deacon Digest Wednesday morning about his summer, traveling to the Bahamas, and how he believes he fits into the team both offensively and defensively.
