2018 Pahokee High School (FL) athlete Deion Foreman picked up two offers in rapid succession this week, announcing the news that he’d been offered by both Wake Forest and Charlotte.
“I really like Wake Forest. I really want to go on a visit to Wake Forest to see what the campus is like, and how things work over there,” Foreman said. “Charlotte is a great school and I’m really focused on getting to know the coaches more at Charlotte.”
Foreman played all over the field as a sophomore last season for Pahokee, seeing time at quarterback, wide receiver, safety and cornerback in addition to returning punts and kicks. He also lines up to come out of the backfield at times.
Wake hasn’t gotten specific with what position at which they project him collegiately.
Foreman believes he’s best at wide receiver.
“I’m quick, run a 4.4-4.5 40,” he said. “I get yards after the catch.”
Asked what Wake Forest fans need to know about him in this early stage of his recruitment, he gave a relatively simple answer.
“I’m a very talented young athlete who really doesn’t have more offers to compete with Wake Forest right now,” Foreman said. “Right now Wake Forest is No. 1 in my eyes.”
