TYRO, N.C. — Ledford Senior High School’s Coleman Reich was all over the field Friday night at the Newbridge Bank Jamboree as his team squared off against Grimsley in a scrimmage at West Davidson High School.
Reich often played on both sides of the ball.
“I play a little bit of corner, but try to be as diverse as I can,” Reich said. “I play some corner and I have played safety in 7-on-7 ball and on travel teams. I’ve also played wide receiver.”
He enjoys mixing it up, and prefers the defensive side of the ball.
The 2019 prospect is already hearing from North Carolina State, North Carolina, Coastal Carolina and Wake Forest, among others.
“I’ve been hitting the camps and meeting with coaches,” Reich said about the early stages of his recruitment.
At Wake Forest, he most often hears from assistant coach Kevin Higgins. He camped at Wake this summer.
“It was good. I like the facilities and love the coaches,” he said. “I like how they handled themselves through the camp and everything.”
