Johnson, who went to the game with his father and brother, told DeaconSports that he loved the Wake Forest offense. "I am just really impressed with Wake's offense and how they run things there," he said. "It looks complex and gets the job done. There was a lot of red in the stadium, but I still think there is some good fan support there [at Wake] too."
"I like the Wake program," he continued. "I think they're a team on the rise for sure. I think they have a chance to be very good. I also think I can fit in their offense pretty well since they're an option team and the quarterbacks throw on the run. That's two things I think I do well."
Johnson, who led his squad to a win over T.C. Roberson by going 8-11 for 93-yards this past Friday, will be in attendance at the Purdue game this upcoming Saturday.
Johnson, who displayed great numbers at the NIKE Camp in Blacksburg earlier this year, noted that his heaviest recruiting interst at this point is coming from Wake, Princeton, Harvard, Furman, and William & Mary.
