NC CB Setting Up Visits

Starmount (NC) athlete James Houston is a joker off the field, but during his weekend visit, Houston saw what he calls a pretty good upset.

"I went to the Wake Forest game against NC State over the weekend, and I liked it there," says the 6-foot-2, 190 pounder. "I just watched the game and had a pretty good time. They also showed us around the stadium and their museum and hall of fame that they have."

Houston says he did not know recruits at the game other than a teammate that went with him to watch.

"He is a really big State fan, so he had a tough time watching the game."

The quarterback/defensive back has started the season almost as well as the Demon Deacs, including two interceptions on defense while leading his team to a 3-1 record.

"I am doing pretty well, but teams are keying on me and we are passing the ball a lot more. I want to focus on this season so I would like to wait until after the season to decide."

Houston plans to take all five visits if possible, and he has five teams selected for his visits.

"I am supposed to make an official visit to Tennessee, and I should know the date really soon for that. I am trying to get some visits set up with for my mom and myself to go to Wake Forest, NC State, North Carolina, and South Carolina as well."
