"I pretty much have an idea of where I want to be," Rudd said. "I mean it is narrowed down pretty much."
What schools does Rudd have his decision narrowed down to?
"University of Wake Forest, Wisconsin and University of Michigan," Rudd said.
In addition to his three favorites, Rudd said he has also received scholarship offers from Northwestern, Northern Illinois, Illinois, Indiana and Central Michigan.
Rudd could be used as a running back or a fullback at the collegiate level.
"Most of the schools they want me to be a fullback but they say to me, ‘if you can carry the ball we are going to give you the ball,'" Rudd said. "Wake Forest they run the same kind of offense that we run at Thornton so, you know, I'm going to get the ball. Wisconsin pretty much they want me to be a fullback and they said if I can run the ball I'd probably get the ball. Michigan they kind of look at me as a fullback and, you know, they mix it up and put me at tailback too."
Rudd's last visit was to Michigan, "maybe a month ago." He plans to take an official visit to Wake Forest in October, followed by trips to Wisconsin in early December and Miami (Fla.) in January.
