Two offers for NC WR

With two offers and more schools very interested, Ragsdale (NC) wide receiver Andreas Platt says that recruiting is going better than he expected.

"It's going really well," says the 6-foot-1, 171 pounder. "Right now, it's still Wake Forest and Duke that have offered and I'm just waiting on a little bit of stuff from other schools like UVa and Clemson. They're looking at film and they'll just make a decision from there on if they will offer.

If either of the two schools were to offer, would they move into the top spot?

"I think that Virginia, even though they haven't offered me, has always been one of my favorites. Right now, Wake Forest is in the lead because Duke isn't have a good year. With the coach being fired, and not knowing who they are going to hire, I just don't know about the situation."

Platt has a teammate committed to both schools, including Jon Terry to Duke. Is he having the same feelings?

"Jon is still committed, but some other schools are calling. Brandon Drumgoole is trying to get him to Wake Forest, and I think that maybe if we can, it would be fun to have a Ragsdale II at Wake Forest."

The team is always one of the top in the state, and this year is no different.

"We're 7-2. We lost early in the season to a sorry team. I don't know how in the world we lost. I injured my ankle in that game and I missed the second half."
