Johnson Still Committed To WFU?

Although Johnson was still planning to look around earlier in the year, his coach does not believe his verbal has changed.

According to his head coach, he is still committed. "As far as I know, he's still committed to Wake Forest," Coach Ronny Mullins said.

"Kansas has offered him, LSU, and he went on a trip for LSU but moreso for track. There's been Tulsa, TCU, [and] Brigham Young - all offered."

Johnson played well this season according to his coach. Although injured part of the year with a badly bruised knee, he came back strong.

"He was hurt in week two and was out a couple weeks and missed a couple games," Coach Mullins said. "I don't think it's bothered him since."

"We're finished. He ended up with a good last ballgame. He had a nice knockdown pass to save a touchdown. He also had a couple nice receptions on offense."
