Hamlett Returns From Windy City

"It (Evanston) was a big difference from Florida but that's not going to have a factor in my decision." said running back Gerrard Hamlett.

"Northwestern was nice. They have a real family atmosphere up there. I got a chance to see Chicago and I just had a nice time.

"I didn't commit. I'm going to take all of my visits before making a decision.

"I plan on visiting both Wake Forest and Iowa in January."

Hamlett, a 5-foot-10, 175-pounder from Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas is a three-year varsity starter. Hamlett rushed for 1,003 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2003.
