The 6-6, 235 pound prospect has enjoyed his Christmas holiday last week. "I had a nice Christmas holiday. We stayed home. I got plenty to eat and just relaxed."

Davis does not have a leader as he prepares for his final official visit. "There is no big change really. I'm still looking forward to my visit at Clemson. That will be my last official visit. I've already visited Vanderbilt and Wake Forest."

The Spring Valley standout expects to make his decision soon after his last official visit, which will come on January 9th. "I'll make up my mind shortly after I visit Clemson," stated the prize recruit.

So what will the Palmetto star consider when determining where he will play next season?

"I will be looking to see if it is a place for me. I want to look at the coaching staff. I want to find a good school with an opportunity to play and also get a good education."

Incidentally, Davis would like to major in Civil Engineering or Computer Science.

Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Clemson are all recruiting the Columbia standout hard at this point. "Vanderbilt is probably recruiting me the hardest right now. All three are recruiting me hard."

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive end from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
