Wright Could Decide Soon

Byrnes (SC) wide receiver Jomar Wright took another official visit, and took in the entire surroundings so much that he has a leader.

"It went really well, I had a good time up there. I just got to hang out with the players, went out to a couple of places where the people hang out. I got to meet some players on other teams as well (Alana Beard)."

Wright also met the new coaches incoming to the staff, and has a personal opinion about the future staff decisions as well.

"I got to meet the new receivers coach from Stanford, and they think that he or the guy from Arizona Cardinals will get it. I think the receivers coach should get the job though."

Sound reasoning, but normally such a statement would come out of personal preference. Could Jomar end up playing for the Blue Devils?

"I thought about not committing while I was there, but just taking my last visit. I could really see myself playing there. I'm thinking about doing it not this week, but next week around Thursday or Friday. I'm going to take my visit to Wake Forest this weekend first."

Wright's foot, which was injured in the state championship game, is making headway and should not be a factor in the future.

"It's healing well. I have another month with this hard cast, but I should be fine after that."
