North Gwinnett (Ga.) High School linebacker Jason Cook was one of the many prospects Wake Forest was looking at to fill their linebacker spots. This past week, however, Cook made his college decision, and the Georgia native will be playing his college ball at Ole Miss.
"I've actually just committed to play at Ole Miss," Jason Cook
said. "I went on a gameday visit when they played Alabama and the second we drove on campus, I loved it. It was a gorgeous campus, great people, and the atmosphere of the game was unbelievable. People say that when I get to that one campus that was the one to be, I'd know it and I feel it, and I did."
Cook, who committed to Ole Miss this past week, had several offers before committing. "Wake, Kentucky, Miami of Ohio, Middle Tennessee, Furman, Eastern Kentucky – those were the schools I had offers from. I was recruited by a lot more."
Cook took an official visit to just one school, Miami of Ohio. He will visit Ole Miss officially this weekend.
