Major A Demon Deacon

The Deacon bandwagon keeps picking up steam. In the past few days, several prospects have decided to be Demon Deacons, including Georgia's Kerry Major.

"Yep, I'm coming to Wake Forest," Kerry Major said. "Wake has great opportunity for me as far as academics. I believe I have a great chance of playing there too."

"I called them earlier today, not too long ago, really," he said. "Talked to Coach Mullin, the one who recruited me. He was excited, he was glad. He told me that I'd make him look like a better coach," Major said with a laugh.

Major, a running back and safety in high school, will likely play defense at the next level. "I'll probably play cornerback but maybe a little safety," he said.

Major will sign with Wake Forest on February 4th. He had offers from Furman, UAB, and Wake Forest before deciding on the Deacs.
