Along with Michigan, Logan said the only other offer he has is from Kentucky. "I'm getting a lot of letters from other schools like Wake Forest, Texas A&M, Michigan State and Alabama," he said. Logan is being recruited as a linebacker and wants to play the position in college. Brandon's brother John was a top U-M recruit as a wide receiver two years ago, and surprised everyone by picking Kentucky early-on over Michigan. Logan is a former Michigan Camper, and attended the U-M Nike Camp last April as well. Logan was considered the top junior linebacker at the U-M Nike Camp. "I went up there as a sophomore for a camp," Logan said. "I didn't hear from them for a while, then my coach sent up some tape. After that they called and offered."
Logan said Michigan was the early leader even though he grew up a Georgia fan and is interested in the southern schools. "I liked Georgia and Florida a lot as a kid," he said. "I wouldn't mind going south in the warm weather, but it wouldn't be a problem going to Michigan, I'd tough it out." He said he wanted to go to school away from home and hasn't thought much about going to school with his brother. He also said his parents won't mind him leaving for school.
There is a Michigan connection for Logan, he said he does have family in the Detroit area and used to travel to Michigan with his brother during his recruiting. He is planning on attending some camps this summer though wasn't sure which one's at the time of the interview.
