Willis High On Wake

Diamonds in the rough do not go unnoticed very long in this day and age of recruiting. Such is the case of 6'5, 215 pound Lynchburg (VA) Virginia Episcopal wide receiver Reynolds Willis. Willis has been flying under the recruiting radar until the last couple of weeks.

"I like Virginia, Wake Forest, NC State, and Duke a lot right now," said Willis. "West Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Richmond, and Navy are a few others interested."

Last season Willis had 26 receptions for 738 yards and 9 touchdowns in only 9 games.

"I think I can occupy the defense very well. I can't remember the last time I wasn't double-teamed. I feel like I'm a big play receiver that can go deep at any time. If the quarterback just throws it up I feel like I can go get it."

Willis plans to attend the Nike Camp at UVA, as well as camps at Georgia, NC State, UVA, and Duke. He was first team All-Conference, All-State, and All-Area as a junior.

"I want to go to a place that has a strong football tradition, good people, and strong academics.

I'm from Georgia, I lived there until just before high school so I'm a Dawg at heart, but I'm starting to like those Wahoos a whole lot right now."
