Willis Favors Four

Virginia Episcopal High School wide receiver Reyn Willis has all the tools needed to become a successful wide receiver at the next level. A prospect with good size, hands, and grades, Willis' interest has picked up of late.

Schools from around the nation are starting to show interest in the Raleigh, North Carolina native. Virginia, Wake Forest, Duke, NC State, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Richmond, and Georgetown are some of the schools showing interest in the 6'5, 220-pounder.

While Willis is open to all schools at this point, he has four schools that stand out early on. "Right know I am favoring the ACC schools, particularly Virginia, Wake Forest, Duke, and Virginia Tech," Willis said of his favorites.

What does Willis like about the Demon Deacon program? "Wake Forest is an elite school academically, and improving every year in ACC football," he said. "I would not be suprised to see them at the top of the ACC next year. I like their style of offense, and they seem to have a good coaching staff. I play summer basketball with former Demon Deacon Todd Hendley who seems to like Wake a lot."

After a quality performance at the NIKE Camp at UVa in mid-April, several schools, including Wake, have begun to show keen interest in Willis. "[UVa assistant coach] Anthony Poindexter was here the other day, and Coach Sherman from Wake Forest was here last week," Willis said. Virginia Tech assistant Kevin Rogers has also picked up on Willis, writing him handwritten letters in recent weeks.

While Willis is yet to receive his first offer, he does plan to attend several camps this summer in order to showcase his skills and earn a full-ride. "I am going to the Georgia camp in June as well as their senior camp in July, Virginia in June, Duke in June, and possibly NC State's in June as well as Virginia Tech's senior camp. I might be making the Wake Forest Combine but it might conflict with camps I had already committed to," he noted.
