2006 Guard Holds Three Offers

Mike Conley, Jr. had a great Tournament of Champions this past weekend, efficiently running the point position for the eventual tournament champion Spiece Indiana Heat.

Thanks to his impressive play in events like the TOC, the class of 2006 guard has begun to receive major interest from schools around the country.

"I'm looking at several schools right now," Mike Conley said at the TOC this past weekend. "Wake Forest, IU, Michigan State, Xavier, Kentucky…I'm pretty much open to all schools."

Conley, who is looking for a "good coach and an up and down tempo," currently has offers from Indiana, Iowa, and Wake Forest.

While the in-state school is an attractive option for Conley, he currently favors Wake and is very willing to go out of state. "It's not a problem," Conley noted. "I can go anywhere."

Conley, whose dad currently serves as the director of U.S. Track & Field, visited Wake Forest this past Monday.
