The 5'10 185 pound running back prospect has quietly emerged as a top prospect in a recruiting gold-mine known as Smyrna, Tennessee. The senior-to-be is already recieving offers from across the Southeast; including the home-town Volunteers.
"I have offers from Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Wake Forest," Johnson said. "I am getting letters from all over."
"I would like to hear more from Florida, Ole Miss, Miami of Florida, and Ohio State."
One of the most impressive kids, I have had the pleasure of seeing on film this year, Marsalous runs with tremendous vision, showing the ability to find yards where other backs might not.
He has prospered in Smyrna's balanced attack and appears poised for a big year next year. Kentucky, who is usually a player in and around the New Smyrna area, has been in contact, but has lost touch of late.
"I haven't talked to them lately, but the team is going to go up there for the 7 on 7 passing camp," the 5'11 185 pound running back prospect stated.
"I would like to hear more from Kentucky."
Asked whether or not the Vols are the team to beat. "Yes, sir. You could say that."
As far as summer plans are concerned, Marsalous has a lot planned.
"I am gonna go to Wake Forest on the 6th and Tennessee on the 19th."
"I am hoping to make it down to the Bobby Bowden camp, too."
Always the team player, Marsalous has high hopes for his squad next season, even without the services of Wolke;
"We are going to be pretty good. We have a lot of young people that have a lot of potential to help the team win."
