Davis (5-10, 210, 4.5) does not list any favorites at this time, but hopes to have things narrowed down after the summer.
"I'm just trying to keep all of my options open," he said. "I'm looking at schools with my major (Sports Medicine), the campus, the players, the fans, and if I feel comfortable there. I just want to make the right decision."
Davis hopes to attend some college camps this summer, but that depends on how well he does on the SAT.
"I still don't know which camps I'm going to because I have to take the SAT. If I pass then I'm going to as many camps as possible, but if I don't then I'm going to spend my summer studying."
Davis has established real close friendships with fellow Columbia area running backs Maurice Odom of Brookland-Cayce and Rod Fluellen of Richland-Northeast. They talk often about the recruiting process.
"We share notes on what the recruiters are telling us. We're like well this is what this coach told me and they are like well he told me this. They've been a big help."
