"I really like Wake Forest and all they have to offer," Boyette said. "I like how the football facilities are all in one vicinity so that you don't have to walk or drive across campus. They've got good academics and I like that and their graduation rates."
"Wake already gave me an offer," Boyette said. "Duke, East Carolina, State, and of course Wake have offered me." UNC, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, and others continue to show interest in Boyette.
While Boyette started his camp season at Wake, he plans to make several more camps this summer. "I've already been to the Wake one-day camp and I'm going to go to Duke, State, and ECU's one-day and North Carolina two days."
Boyette will not run many of the drills at the camps, however, as he recently injured his hamstring. "I've pulled my hamstring," Boyette said. "I pulled it before [going to Wake Forest's camp] and tried to run on it and tweaked it again." Boyette plans to sit out many drills at future camps to prepare for his senior season at Fike.
