Plyler Enjoys Camp Experience

Piedmont High School linebacker/fullback Aaron Plyler took his game to Wake Forest at the beginning of this month, visiting the Demon Deacons' three-day football camp.

The 6', 220-pound prospect who runs a 4.63 on the track enjoyed his time in Winston-Salem. "It was good," Plyler said. "They worked us pretty hard."

Plyler, who topped all linebackers with 27 reps of 185, loved the campus and was able to meet several players at Wake including wide receiver Chris Davis.

"The campus is real nice," Plyler said. "It's old school. The people are real nice and I talked to a couple players and they love it there."

He also talked with fullbacks coach Tom Elrod who said to keep in touch. "I talked to Coach Elrod and he gave me his card," the Piedmont High prospect noted. "He told me to make sure to send them some film."

Plyler, who has not sent film to schools just yet, is currently receiving interest from Wake, The Citadel who is close to offering, Wofford, UNC, and Appalacian State.

Plyler is already qualified as he currently holds a 3.4 GPA and has scored an impressive 1,100 on his SAT.

He was also very impressive this past weekend at the D1 camp in Charlotte.
