NC CB Holds Eight Offers

The son of a military man, NC cornerback Brandon Ghee has lived in cities in Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas, Germany, and Louisiana. In less than a year, he will make another home at the college of his choice. In the meantime, Ghee will work hard on his game and make visits to college campuses, hoping to find the school that is the right fit.

"I've just been real busy this summer," Brandon Ghee said. "Going to practice every day for my high school and then going and visiting schools."

Ghee, who spends two hours per day working out with teammates, wants to be "getting bigger and stronger" this summer.

With hard work in the weight room this summer, Ghee notes that Jack Britt is looking strong for this upcoming season. "We're looking pretty good," Ghee said. "We had a real good season and have most everybody back."

That includs Ghee himself, a prospect with eight offers to date. "North Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest, Clemson, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and ECU" are his current offers.

Asked for a list of favorites, Ghee named Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Duke, Clemson and West Virginia as his leaders.

Ghee has already visited a host of schools and is looking to make a few more visits before the end of the summer. "I've been to West Virginia, Tennessee, Clemson, Duke, North Carolina, and I'm going to Wake in about 2 weeks," Ghee said. "And I go to Virginia Tech July 10th."

Ghee, who is thinking of majoring in computer science or computer engineering, will look at each school closely before making his final decision. "I [will have] visited most all of the schools and I'll sit down with my parents and talk about each school and the strong and weak points and find what's best for me," Ghee said.
