Flintall Talks Wake Visit

L.J. Flintall took a visit to Wake Forest a couple weeks ago, checking out the facilities and meeting coaches and other personnel at the school. Flintall was impressed by his trip to Winston-Salem and the people at the Wake Forest campus.

"I went down there, me and my parents, and we had a pretty good time," L.J. Flintall said. "I'd say it was a more of meet the people day because I'd seen the campus before. With the little time we had, we met some coaches, assistants, academic assistants, secretaries, people like that."

Flintall also ran into a few of the players while he was on his visit including one of his friends, Josh Gattis. "Overall it was a pretty good deal," Flintall said. "When we were walking around, I felt like I was one of them." Track teammate Whitman Reese had planned to visit Wake with Flintall. Reese was unable to make the visit, however, as he had to workout with his football teammates at Southern Durham. Reese is still interested in the Deacons, however.

"He should be calling Coach Mullin to set up a visit soon," Flintall said. "He's really interested because he wants to go somewhere he knows people and he knows I'll be there." Whitman currently holds an offer from Vanderbilt.
