Through the first two days, Augustine feels that he played ok, but that his play is not up to his standards. "I did alright," he said. "The first day I was kind of cool, just getting people open. I started coming into my own the last two games. I keep trying to get people open."
Thanks to his skills at the point guard position, Augustine's demolished many of their opponents at adidas. "We're killing people," he said. "We're playing as a team and winning." Then again, winning is much easier when Augustine also has big-time 2005 big man Vernon Goodridge, 2006 star Wayne Ellington, and a quality forward in 2006 prospect Joevon Catron.
Regardless, Augustine's game speaks for itself, and has helped him garner interest from the nation's elite schools. Currently, he has just five favorites, however. "I like North Carolina, LSU, Wake Forest, Duke, and Michigan," the 6', 160-pounder said. At this point, no offers have been issued to the Louisiana prospect. "I'm just getting letters right now," Augustine said.
