McMillan Favors Wake?

Barrett McMillan was a standout OL at the MSL Combine in Atlanta earlier this year. He has turned that performance and his good play on the field into an ACC offer.

"I'm considering Wake Forest, Illinois, Georgia and Vanderbilt. Wake Forest has offered me a scholarship," Barrett McMillan said.

Does the Collins Hill standout have a leader?

"Wake Forest is my favorite team. I liked their campus when I took a visit up there for camp and they have offered me a scholarship."

What stands out about his other favorites?

Illinois: "My dad played there and I think he graduated in 1981. I've been there a few times and I like the campus."

Georgia: "I've been here for 13 years now and I know a lot about them. I went to camp in Athens and the campus is nice."

Vanderbilt: "They have the best academics in the SEC and they seem to really be going somewhere with their football program."

What does Barrett feel he does best on the football field, and what does he need to work on?

"I think my strength with a 500lb bench press and the fact that I play tough are my biggest assets. I need to get my blocks and my agility down better."

What is he looking for most in a school?

"Academics would be first and football is second. I'd like to major in business."
