Wallace is a talented playmaker, with excellent ball skills for a player his size. He shoots it well out to the stripe, but he's also effective inside. He's a bit slender and will need some more weight/strength for the next level. With two more years of high school, though, we expect Wallace to develop into a very good high major prospect.
We spoke with Wallace yesterday and asked him about the coaches that have been out to see him at his high school workouts.
"Ernie Kent came by today," said Wallace. "Colorado State was out a couple days ago. Coach Keating from UCLA will be out at the end of September. Stanford said they would be coming. And my coach said Xavier, Wake Forest and UConn have all talked about coming out."
Wallace said he's in no hurry to make a decision. "I won't jump the gun too early," said Wallace. "I guess if I found a good fit, and it felt right in my heart, I could commit somewhere. But most likely I'll wait until after next summer to make a decision."
Previously, Wallace told us that his GPA was around 3.0.
