Robinson had an outstanding game at the Eddie Grifin Challenge held on the campus of Rutgers University this past weekend. Robinson, a lefty who can score from the perimeter or inside the paint, was named his team's MVP in the New Jersey-Philadelphia challenge.
Robinson scored 21 points, including four three-pointers. His line drive of a shot at first can cause some doubt about his consistency from the perimeter. But Robinson has done this very effectively, especially over the past year. Jeff, who played with the New Jersey All Stars and helped his team win the Showcase in Orlando,Florida last July, was a big reason why his team claimed the championship trophy.
Though just a sophomore, Robinson has received heavy interest from some high division one programs. Robinson told us that he is currently interested in Rutgers, Connecticut, Wake Forest, and Syracuse. "I am open," Robinson said. "But I like those schools a lot and have heard from them."
Jeff said after he finishes playing basketball, he would like to be a coach someday. "I would like to find a school that would give me a chance to do that someday," Robinson said. "Maybe I could make in athletic administration. I have to find out what schools have that."
