Clark Sets Wake Visit

Richard Clark is an athletic offensive line prospect from the state of Florida this year, and he is taking his time with the recruiting process.

"I have offers from Syracuse, Northwestern, Boston College, UCF, Maryland, Wake Forest, and Indiana," said Clark. "I'm open to anyone that is interested in me. I'm not eliminating anyone."

Clark was in Knoxville this weekend for Tennessee's big matchup with Notre Dame.

"I went to Tennessee/Notre Dame on an unofficial visit with my parents and teammate for the game. I got to talk with Coach Stephens and Coach Fulmer. That asked how my season was going and said they were glad I could make it. We left the game early so we could get back home. The crowd was great; man do they love their football."

Maryland, Northwestern, Tennessee, Florida State, and Georgia Tech have all been in contact with Clark in the last week. While he isn't ready to eliminate anyone, his actions show that he is more serious about some schools than others including a trip to Knoxville and two official visits set.

"I'm going to Maryland (12-10) and Wake Forest (12-3). Northwestern will definitely get a visit too."

Florida State and Tennessee could definitely become big players should an offer find its way to Clark's house before he makes a decision.
