Schofield will take his lone official visit on January 14th to Winston-Salem just to get a better feel for the campus.
Although recruited as a defensive back, the two-star prospect will also get a shot at a few other positions once he steps on the practice field to make sure the Deacons are utilizing all of Schofield's abilities.
"They are looking at me at defensive back," explained Schofield. "I asked the coach what if I tried receiver he said he would let me try anything I want, but as of now they are recruiting me as a defensive back, though."
Despite a slightly disappointing 6-6 record and a second round exit in the playoffs, Schofield had a solid senior season posting 660 rushing yards on offense and five interceptions and 15 pass breakups on defense. For his efforts Schofield was named to the North-South All-Star Game.
