Abdallah Favors Wake Forest

Fresh off his third official visit, Luqman Abdallah has seen his school interest tilt in the direction of one particular school. However, in the midst of his official visit schedule the Princeton (N.J.) Hun School product isn't ready to verbally commit just yet.

"Right now I'm leaning towards Wake Forest," commented Luqman Abdallah. "But I still have to take my visits to Miami this weekend and Virginia Tech next weekend."

Igniting this flame for the Demon Deacons is a strong academic reputation as well as the attraction of playing big time football in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Abdallah was quite aware of all these facts before his official visits this past weekend, but seeing the university in action further emphasized those facts in his mind.

"It went pretty good time, I enjoyed myself a lot," remarked Abdallah of his visit to Wake Forest. "The academics there are great.

"I got to do a campus tour, meet the players, met some of the academic advisors, and meet all the coaches. I had just a lot of interaction with the players and the coaches."

Abdallah stated that his trip to Winston-Salem ranked as his best official visit thus far – he has already visited Michigan State and Rutgers. After all scheduled official visits have been taken, the 6-foot-4, 285-pound defensive tackle hopes to have a decision.

On his way to earning first-team all-prep honors, Abdallah recorded 75 tackles including 10 sacks and 22 tackles for a loss.
