This past season, Harris snuck into the lineup for Varina as one of their top linemen, Josh Edwards, was injured. Harris made the best of his time in the lineup and was able to hold the position for the rest of the year. "He's going to be a good one," Wolfe continued. "He's real smart, very coachable. You tell him to do something and that will be done."
At this point, Harris is noted for having the athleticism and legs to be a DI prospect. With work in the weight room, Harris could very well pick up some DI offers in the May evaluation period. "Jonathan needs to stay in the weightroom and get bigger," Wolfe noted. "He's got the speed. He's a project who just needs to keep getting bigger. He works hard, though. He's the kid that never misses the weightroom."
Currently, several schools are already picking up on the big lineman. "He's getting letters from Tech, N.C. State, something from Tennessee. He's getting some things from Wake Forest, Duke, schools like that."
