Crezdon Butler is quickly learning how fast recruiting can happen, and the Asheville (N.C.) cornerback and quarterback now holds his first offer.
"It's pretty good, but kinda crazy," said the 6-foot-1, 175 pounder. "I've heard a lot of interest, and they want me to play both cornerback and wide receiver. Virginia, I'm expecting them to offer soon, and Clemson. North Carolina is the only school that has offered so far, and that means a lot to me."
Though the first offer is in, Butler does not want to make any final place this early in the process.
"I'm going to wait a while so I can see what is going to happen. Right now, I have just the same interest in everybody."
Butler plans to attend the U.S. Army All-American regional combine at Duke in April.
