Ellington Closes His List At Five

Having seen Wayne Ellington many times over the past couple of years, you become used to seeing him take over a game. Ellington did that several times this past weekend at Jimmy Salmon's Playaz Spring Fling event in New Jersey.

Ellington possesses a sweet touch from the outside and appears to have put some more muscle on his frame. It's no surprise most high major programs are interested in his skills.

"My list is closed," Ellington said. "I don't have a favorite but I expect to take some visits before I make a decision."

Ellington mentioned interest in North Carolina, Villanova, North Carolina State, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest. He hopes to have a decision in the Fall. Currently, Ellington is having in school visits with the programs on his list.

"I really have no preference right now in where I go or what conference I go to," he said. "I just have to see how the visits go before I make a decision."

Ellington is likely to be considered one of the top candidates for next Spring's McDonald's All American game. The game next year will be held in San Diego, California. "It would be great to make it," Ellington said.

Chances are good if Ellington continues to perform at such a high level.
