"Appalachian State and Eastern Kentucky have offered," said Angram. "I have to go to summer school to take care of Algebra II for Virginia and some others to offer me."
In addition to the Cavaliers, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and Wake Forest are interested in offering Angram if he can get his grades in order.
Even with so much up in the air, Angram has established two co-leaders, but more importantly knows he wants to remain close to home.
"I just want to stay in North Carolina," said Angram. "I really like Wake [Forest] and [North] Carolina. Wake is real close to home and Carolina I just have always liked Carolina."
Angram has unofficially visited Virginia Tech and Wake Forest and has plans to take a trip to Chapel Hill to scope out North Carolina.
Angram plays both tailback and strong safety for East Henderson, but is mostly being recruited to fill the offensive backfield. Last season, Angram rushed for 2,287 yards and 28 touchdowns on 308 carries (7.43-average). He also picked off three passes on defense.
