The coaching roster included Dave Brock (North Carolina), Dick Portee (N.C. State), Keith Henry (Wake Forest), Chris Burkey (North Carolina), Fred Chatham (Duke), Eddie Johnson (Newberry), Joe Reich (Wingate), Jack Teachey (Wofford), Freddy Brown (Wofford), Mike Ketchum (W-S State), Antoine Rivens (Coastal Carolina), Tim Harkness (Benedict), Will Holthouser (Gardner Webb), Mark Speir (Appalachian State), Greg Richardson (J.C. Smith), Harold Robinson (East Carolina), John Lilly (Florida State), Shane Handy (Catawba), and Mitch Hall (Presbyterian).
Additionally, Charlotte native Chris Leak of Florida volunteered his time as a speaker and helped out with the quarterbacks.
The biggest recruiting name in attendance was Vince Jacobs, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound tight end from Providence Day, who holds scholarship offers from Wake Forest and Vanderbilt.
Other standouts on hand included tailback James Smoot of Central Cabarrus, linebacker John Markham of Fayetteville Britt, center Mario Acitelli of Charlotte Catholic, quarterback Zach Gibson of Lincolnton, and wide receiver Corey Harrison of Durham Riverside.
The camp kicked-off Friday afternoon and concluded Sunday evening. Attendees participated in two to three in-depth practice sessions each day, as well as receiving personal evaluations and speeches from college coaches.
