Wake Forest took out N.C. State with a 13-7 win Sunday afternoon giving the Deacs two wins in the three game weekend series in Raleigh this weekend.

Wake Forest's baseball team took two of three games from N.C. State this past weekend in Raleigh.

On Friday in the opener, the Diamond Deacs were edged out by the Wolfpack 5-4. It was the second consecutive Deacon loss. Dave Bush took the loss in that contest when NCSU scored an unearned run in the bottom on the ninth inning.

Saturday was a different story. Down 6-5 going into the eighth, the Deacs reeled off three runs to give Wake an 8-5 win. Wake's Ben Ingold was 4-5 on the day at the plate in the victory.

Sunday, the Deacons took the winning streak to two with a 13-7 victory. Brian Bach improved to 3-0 on the season as the winning pitcher. Leadoff hitter Adam Bourassa sparked the Deacon offense with four hits and four runs.

Wake will return home to take on Charlotte on Tuesday at Hooks Stadium at 3:00.
