As expected, Bobby Perry verbally committed to Kentucky this past weekend. Perry had narrowed his list to Kentucky, Stanford, and Wake Forest before deciding to be a Wildcat.
Fortunately, the loss of Perry will not hurt Wake Forest's recruiting too much as the Deacs already picked up a prime forward prospect this season in Todd Hendley.
Durham, NC native Bobby Perry is currently one of North Carolina's hottest junior commodities.
The 6'7" forward is currently receiving attention from schools around the nation and is pulling in scholarship offers from many of the nation's finest basketball programs.
Included in this group of schools is Wake Forest. The Deacs have already offered this Perry a scholarship. Other schools that have offered Perry include Kentucky, Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Clemson.
Perry, who sports size 16 shoes, is expected to be a small forward in college. Stay tuned to DeaconSports.com for the latest on Perry's recruitment.
